Scuba Diving Trip to Okinawa
Immerse yourself into Japanese culture and life beneath the water
Trip program
Arrival in Tokyo. Meet the guide/interpreter who will accompany you throughout the trip, including dives. Arrival at the hotel and tour in Narita to enjoy one of Japan's most iconic temples.
Flight to Ishigaki. Transfer to the hotel. First check-dive.
15 dives. In the afternoons, we will take advantage of guided tours and visit the Ethnographic Museum to discover the unique culture of Okinawa. Companions have activities planned while the diving group completes their dives: guided snorkelling on the same coral reefs where the divers will be, as well as various sightseeing tours to nearby islands.
Spend a day in the Yaeyama jungle to enjoy its surroundings and paddle through the dense mangroves in a kayak. If the weather is nice, we will conclude the experience with a farewell barbecue under the impressive starry sky of Okinawa.
Flight to Tokyo. Check-in at the hotel.

Diving in Okinawa
Explore underwater Japan in one of its best diving spots in Okinawa, the National Park Yaeyama. The park is located in 300 km from Taiwan and 1956 km south of Tokyo. It is a must-visit place for scuba divers in Asia but remains relatively unknown to Western divers.
Ishigaki, the main island where we will spend 7 out of 12 days, is surrounded by the largest coral reef in the Northern Hemisphere.
On the 8th day, we are going to discover the beauty of nature above sea level from kayaks, navigating the jungle channels of Okinawa declared World Natural Heritage of the UNESCO.
Tokyo is the last stop on our trip, where we will spend 4 days getting to know the city better on a private tour.
